Below you will find a list of the files contained in the Windows XP \I386\ ASMS directory just t click on the name of the file you need and save the file to your hard drive. These are good working copies of the files from an original Windows XP Pro CD. To use these files you will need to copy the contents of the XP CD you are using to a temp directory on your hard drive, delete the suspected bad files and replace them with the new one from this site.

You will then need to burn a new copy of your "LEGAL" copy of XP straight from the files on the hard drive. if you still have the same error after the re-burn. delete the files you downloaded, re-download them and re-burn a CD again but try the burn at a slower speed. these errors are caused by "bad burns" Make sure you use a quality CD burning software such as Nero.
